    Default Windowed mode

Is there a windowed mode in MTW2 like in RTW?

    Thanks...

I didn't know there was one in RTW! How is it done? If it can be done in M2TW I would be delighted!

Add -ne to your shortcut in RTW, add windowed = true to your [video] section in your config file for M2TW.

So do these two steps and windowed mode works for M2TW? That would be pretty awesome.

In RTW you can just add -ne to the game shortcut, has anybody tried in MTW2 yet?

This causes: "M2TW has suffered a fatal error and will now exit" before startup...

The shortcut thing is for RTW *only*

for M2TW you add that line I gave, to the [video] section in your medieval2.preferences.cfg file in the program's 'root' folder.

M2TW does no longer support settings via the shortcut.

How do you open that file? For my computer it's an unknown file type...does it require a download?
