Hi all, despite quite a number of topics on this I couldn't find one with correct info on GAMEPLAY differences(lets leave history aside). Also does Dresden's all diplomatic mode allow to create a satrapy on subjugation as a rome?

Client States function like Defensive Allies and give you money each turn. Satrapies function like Military Allies, but they must always join you in wars: defensive and offensive. They also give you money each turn. Also, both grant Military Access.

Satrapies aren't just military allies - they can't make any diplomatic agreements with other factions except for trade agreements, unless they rebel against you of course.
There was this one mod which got rid of client States and renamed Satrapies into Vasalls, IMO it worked better, no more wars amongst my clients
If you wish I can look for it

It's been a while since it's been updated, but AFAIK it still works perfectly, I'm using it myself

just keep in mind that some factions arenīt able to confederate in this mod, itīs a minor thing to fix, just go to the diplomatic_action_faction_restrictions with the PFM and tick the factions you want to be able to confederate in unknown 2
normally it would say can make confederations, no Idea why it doesnīt.
