Any1 know how to get back in to the catholic church? cuz i kinda like sacked Rome and the pope ordered a crusade on my ass so there's about 4 countries marching to Rome so um.. some1 give me some advice for recensiliation(can't spell) please?

Kill your leader (king/emperor/etc), it's the fastest way, or don't do you anithing wrong and the pope will forgives you (but it take time).
At the end of the game, the King and the Pawn go back in the same box.

Taking Rome is usually not worth it. To get back in his Holiness's good graces you should try to have your cardinal elected and take up any crusades that have been ordered. You're screwed for the immediate future, though.

i disagree about rome. If you are capable of doing so do it. And leave an army in central italy so that if you need to get back in his holynesses good grace....you kill him, and any other pope you dont like. Like I did
