OVER POWERFUL FLEETS

Hi! Fleet units (even catapaults I do not remember the name, with 105) can kill hoplites in a land battle!! In a multiplayer campaign, I lost Pella (20 units), while my enemy had 10 navy units!! Hoplites with 23 kills!! and my question is WHYYYYYY????

2) What difficulty are you playing on?
3) What factions and, specifically, units were involved?
4) What did you have for breakfast?
5) Why does the human eye see more shades of green than any other color?

All joking aside, fleets are supposed to be overpowered units in terms of ability in sea battles. They are smaller than other units.

I think the OP is saying he disembarked the catapult and killed a hoplite in hand to hand combat?

answer to question 5) because the receptor in our eyes for green colour is about 10 times more sensitive due to the fact that "green" resebles life/plants which the early forms of human beeings were more dependent on and which is now a leftover of that

And to the original post: Either you have very hard battle difficulty and played the game with DeI the first time or something of your install /submods etc. got currupted... also why arent you using the newest version of DeI as I suppose your " 105" implifies DeI 1.05

I believe he was referring to the troop count of the light artillery ships, and that they were able to defeat hoplites in melee combat.

I'm playing on mac so perhaps this isn't true for windows but in the ia campaign playing as pompey, the 5 starting light artillery ships probably have enough ammo to destroy all of massila's walls.
