    Can you play medieval2 and kingdoms now? CA_LIBS error happens for a bad install most of the times and reinstalling the game should fix that;
    I found 3 solution for the cases that reinstall doesn't fix the problem:


    1. Change your language to en (if it is not)
    2. Manual uninstall and then reinstalling (dont forget to backup your registry) : "http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic/24456"

    I am using the disc version of the game and my base game, Kingdoms, and other Mods are just fine.

    All I need is to uninstall and try again?

    First try a manual uninstall like this: "http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic/24456"
    Then reinstall the game (out of program files)
    After that install the mod as OP said: "http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...e-Installation"
    Apply the patch and fixes in second post
    Run one of the language icons and play...

    I do not know if I am going to get a response yet But I just wanted to refer to my previous post. I tried to do several things to get the game to work with no success. I did notice that when I try to go from the custom battle setup screen to the campaign screen I get the sigmar error. when i try to start a campaign same message. I have deleted CoW several times and reinstalled the game but it did not work. I have the disc version and running windows 8. the log is in my last post. If any one wants to help me resolve the problem. Each time I have done the installation according to the instructions.

    The ctd that occurs in going to campaign menu from custom battles (or vice versa) is not a problem and it occurs for everyone and with most of other mods.
    Do you have any other mods in your mod folder? (because some of them make minor changes in vanilla files despite they're mod-foldered)

    I only have the kingdoms expansion in the mods folder. I have not done any other mod.

    From your log it seems that the ui freeze files (tga) and event is missing, the problem may be from your download
    Did you run the language icon after applying the patch?

    After many hours trying to get this mod to work, I read on an old CoW thread that TATW can interfere with the install of this mod. I had TATW installed, so I removed it, reinstalled MTW & Kingdoms, then reinstalled RoDg, patches and hotfixes and it now works!

    So for anyone else frustrated by not being able to play, if you are willing to do the above then this worked for me and may well work for you. Reinstalling everything took a while but I was determined.

    M2TW.system.log.txt.7z there is the log file. So I tried many things sense the last post that I have done but did not solve the problem. each time I installed the game I followed each step closely. first thing I done was update windows from 8.1 to 10. next i reinstalled the kingdoms patch. I deleted CoW completely off the system and re-down loaded it. installed all 3 parts the patch and 2 fixes then ran the English translation. ran game. tried the Tomb Kings and got the freeze screen but had to log as I was needed for other things. Latter when I got back to it I got the sigmar error on the loading screen. I was trying to play Dwarfs. tried a couple of more times same result with other races. next deleted the mod and reinstalled as I have done every time. all I have is the kingdoms expansion and no other mods. I would like to play the game looks fun but all these error are keeping me from having fun. Please help if you can.

    Hi everyone, long time total war player, and mod player, have never encountered an issue with a mod I haven't been able to solve until now.
    Before I can even install this mod, while I have the readme and the 3 install RodG16 part #.exe when I first run part 1 (or any part as i've tried all 3) I get an error message saying the file doesn't exist and the name may have been entered wrong, as well as the file vanishes and I mean vanishes cause it's not with the other 2 parts and readme and it's not in the trash bin :O
    However if I try to install as administrator I get the same message but the file does not disappear. Couldn't seem to find anyone else with this issue, any help?

    Hi guys.

    First of all, thank you Gigantus for making another painless and easy installment for newer version of the mod!

    Second. I've been playing this mod for a while now (By the gods the 1.6 is more difficult) and I've been bothered by a same problem I had with earlier version (I think it was fixed by a sub-mod if I remember right) and the text on GUI is really hard to read. For example, when I'm playing as Skaven and go through unit text or mainly, buildings, the text is nearly impossible to be read, because of the color of the text being too similar with the UI.

    Is there a easy way to change color of the text or is there something I've failed to notice / to do, in order to get text that is readable in the game?

    I can't install! Tried many times and part 1 refuses to finish properly, always giving the error message that it can't create a file. Part 2 and 3 installed fine, but i can't for the life of me get part 1 to install the game properly. Help?

    Hi lads,

    WIth the former 1.6 version, i was able (by pressing space bar), to skip AI movements which took AGES at the 1st turn during the "preparation". Now that the UI is frozen at the beginning of new campaign..no way . How could i do ?

    K guys, there is literaly NO WAY for me to play this mod. Idk what is wrong. I even downloaded pirate version to try it out! Always Medieval 2 crash (Medieval 2 suuffered a fatal error and will now exit. In logs i have some missing files:

    Hi guys,

    I have a bit of a strange issue, I managed to install it and play perfectly fine (Many thanks to Gig and Jackiefish' install video!) with only a couple of CTD in 40 odd turns (yay) but today when I try to launch the game I get an error saying it cannot find the medieveal2.exe?!
    I remember there used to be an issue when you needed to rename the kingdoms.exe but have never come across this before? Its very strange
    Any help is appreciated!
