TA crashes when initiating battle in West/South Osgiliath and Cair Andros

I have TA version 3.2 with no submods, and MTW2 from the App Store on my Macbook.

Unfortunately whenever I initiate a battle (from the campaign map) in either West or South Osgiliath or in Cair Andros (as either Mordor or Gondor) the game goes to loading screen and crashes a couple of seconds later. The game does not crash on the other settlements i have tried it on, including Rivendell and Minas Tirith.

Any suggestions (there is no daylight saving settings on Mac as i am aware (??) so that "fix" wont work) are greatly appreciated!

Those two settlements are known to be buggy.. Hmm.. Delete two descr_geography_new files in your M2TW/ mods/ Third_Age_3/ data folder. Restart your Mac and try the battle again.

I tried what you said, but it still crashes. I also tried to launch a custom battle in west osgiliath (or east) with the proper Castle/Custom settings, and it crashed a few seconds after the loading screen appeared, just as on the Campaign map. If it is to any help, it doesnt seem to start loading/doesnt come very far because it crashes before the yellow loading bar appears.
