As the title suggest, I was wondering what dlc I need to buy to get the full experience from this mod. Thank you very much.

It purely depends on which nations you prefer to play. Although with Wrath of Sparta you will also get our custom Macedonian Wars campaign, but if you are not into Hellenic warfare or you prefer campaign on full map then you won't miss it that much.

I'd highly recommend Caesar in Gaul if you like any of those factions, it's really tough as there's not much sea so AI works perfectly against you
Seconded on Caesar in Gaul, but only if you want a challenge. There are some really cool campaign features in that, though, like the tech tree. And who doesn't want to play as CAESAR?

i really enjoyed my CiG campaign with DeI, alltough i played Vercingetorix =)=)=)
I really enjoyed CiG playing as the Romans. Great map, interesting diplomatic choices and a cool weather system + supply system will make for a fun playthrough.
That being said, I would decide which one to buy by my favorite scenario. If you're into the Punic Wars, get HatG or if you prefer the Hellenic warfare get Wrath of Sparta. I had a really fun Rome campaign with interesting diplomacy in WoS.
The combat is pure DeI awesomesauce in all ofc![]()
Since the DLC's are on sale, I'm also interested in this. What about the smaller DLC's, do they add anything when playing DeI?
I mean these:
Black Sea Colonies Culture Pack
Daughters of Mars Unit Pack
Beasts of War Unit Pack
Pirates and Raiders Culture Pack
Greek States Culture Pack
Nomadic Tribes Culture Pack
Blood & Gore
The Daughters of Mars and Beasts of War unit packs are not necessary for DeI in any way; you can skip those unless you want to play vanilla.
The culture packs all add playable factions. Depending on which faction you want to play, they're all fine. From all those factions, I think only Tylis and Colchis haven't really been properly overhauled in DeI, but they're still playable. Tylis does have a few unique units, but they're really Scordisci units anyway...
Blood and Gore is fine too. You can even use most blood mods alongside DeI.
