    Icon4 Work in Progress - 1.1e Fix Pack (Updated Feb 1 Possible CRASH FIX)

    This has been released in the main mod as update 1.1e. Please go to the download thread to get the new part 1 if you use the standalone. Steam will automatically be updated.

    Thanks to everyone who helped us track down bugs and test!


    Fixes 1.1e
    - Fixed Random AI turn crash issue (we hope!)
    - Fixed Macedonian Wars supply system not working properly with armies.
    - Lowered unit minimum strength after battles from 20% to 15% to fix a repeatable AI turn crash issue.
    - Fixed Dacian garrison townsfolk being classified as heavy.
    - Fixed Armenian level 4 minor town trader giving Parni rather than Armenian culture.
    - Fixed some missing cultures in the conversion tables.
    - Fixed General appearances not having the proper settings/variation for: Ardhan, Breuci, Ardiaei, Cappadocia, Colchis, Trapezos, and Kartli in the GC and IA campaign.
    - Removed legionary abilities from Hellenic Thorax sword units.
    - Fixed some Spartan infantry units not getting the faction trait xp bonus.
    - Fixed bug where cultural recruitment script wouldn't properly trigger.
    - Replaced vanilla latent unit in starting Imperator Augustus Cantabri army (new campaign only).
    - Fixed AOR Ethiopian Horse Skirmishers animation entry.
    - Fixed Armenian general missing arms.

    Odd, in experimental pack it was on 35 or even 40% and it was working ;P Damn, it will lower the overal difficulty, that is why I wanted to have at least 30% in base mod.

    That's a shame, 30-40% rate was the best thing about the experimental pack. Hopefully it can be restored!

    I see the problem. My browser doesn't show it being downloaded when I click it - I have like 10 of 'em now.

    I can change it to something higher than 20% and test it. Litharion and I have no idea why this fixes the 2 recent repeatable saves that were posted, but it does.

    Its really bizarre because this setting has been in the mod a very long time and only now did we get 2 repeatable crashes posted that this setting caused. Really no idea why.

    Did you correct the entry of Thracian public buildings ? (The last time I checked their public buildings gives hellenic culture instead of balkan, but that was a long time ago I dont know if you corected it, its just to remember just in case )

    Some may give hellenic culture still, I will check. Most should give thracian.

    The update you are referring to in the fix pack has to due with cultural conversion rates not buildings.

    What do you mean by cultural conversion rates ?

    First as you could see that building dont have any name, and it gives +2 hellenic culture instead of Thracian (since its the odryssian kingdom)

    The version I used to do these screenshot is 1.1d, I do not check 1.1e.

    Could it be the attrition caused by no food dropping the units to below the minimum of 20% be causing the crash? would the units be removed from the army on the campaign map? or would it work the same as poison, and how a unit cannot be wiped out from poisoned provisions.
    If the saved games had greater than 15% troops, but less than 20% it may be why the crash was sorted, I may be way off, but it's something to throw out there.

    I like the 20% for min unit strength. I set mine at 10% and don't have crash issues most of the time. I was getting random crashes every 15 turns during the between-turn phases when other civs were cycling.
    It's frustrating to keep losing elite units due to starvation and not combat.
    Please keep us updated with these beta and alpha versions and let us test for you. Some of us really want to keep up with the latest improvements.

    That is their medicus...I thought I had made one for them. I will have to go back and make one, but if I disable that one now it will cause blank building spaces in save games. Maybe I can add a new one and leave that one for now until we do a bigger update.

    The alternative is to leave it as is and let it be a trade off for having more Hellenic medical access (kind of like the Seleucid buildings that give persian culture).

    I have a weird visual glitch with Rome's Field of Mars and all of its upgraded versions (Manipular Barracks, etc).

    Instead of the description window showing me what I can recruit, along with the building's passive benefits, the window is stretched the entire way vertically up the screen so the only thing I see is the black background with no information.

    Edit: Just to add, this visual glitch was there before I started using this fixpack but I forgot to report it before now.

    eurolandish i can't say for certain but that looks like a mod conflict. are you running anything besides dei? might also try verifying local files through steam, or uninstalling/reinstalling (game and/or mod)

    Perhaps it is the DeI Caesar's Legions submod causing it? Aside from that, this fixpack and a lower army movement speed I'm using nothing major beside non-game changing things such as a GEMFX.
