History of House Blacktyde

House Blacktyde of Blacktyde is a noble house from Blacktyde Castle on the island of Blacktyde, located north of Orkmont and Harlaw. They blazon their arms with vairy green and black.
Over the years, the Blacktydes ruled souvereign over their small island, sometimes as lords upon their own right, sometimes under an overlord - yet it did not matter most of the times, as they ruled within their own grasp and declared themselves independent successfully several times as well, when the opportunity was right. The Blacktydes are feared for the ammount of men they are able to amass on open field as one of the larger independent lordships, while their fleet ranged up from 60 - 80 ships during the ancient days.
