    Default Naval battles and boarding

Thanks to DeI I'm giving naval battles a serious chance.

I've only played a few battles so far but something happened to me that makes me wonder. I boarded a lone enemy ship, won and saw my ship catch fire as my sailors returned to their burning deaths. So I guess freak fires occur during boarding, maybe some tips something over . Anyway I win and lose that ship, gaining nothing.

Then I reload and ram it to death and it sinks. Same battle result but I lose nothing.

Is there a chance you can capture enemy ships if you board them, do they have to be your same culture (?), or is it one of the awesome things that died with Rome2?

    Thanks.

If I remember correctly, when you capture a ship it is immediately set on fire? I think we ran into this issue and couldn't find a way around it.

Ok, so no capturing ships then. Well, I'm liking the naval battles just for the sake of playing them, and that's on you, DeI team!

The enemy ship should catch fire if he won.

His ship shouldn't have caught fire.

Actually he could have lost his ship to fire if it routed after killing the enemy.

Defeated units can still cause active units to rout in the warscape engine.
