Icon10 How is your campaign going?

    Hey Guys!

As the title sais, post your stories, screenshots and campaign status over here

Iīm currently on a Baktria campaign. I have managed to secure a long lasting alliance with the Seleukidai by eliminating every opposition they had (and carving myself an empire doing so).

As you can see, the mayor contenders for World domination (besides me) are my allies and Rome (Good Job DeI!!), with a few regional powers (Germanic confederation, Horde of the Steppe and Celiberian confederation). Just as I was about to attack the Horde, this happened:

So Rome started a new iteration of the East Cost/West Coast beef.
This is probably freaking scary, but Iīm pumped as hell
It will be the first time in nearly 800 hours of Rome 2 that Iīm facing a strong Rome (Iīve beaten them a lot of times with cartage and once with massalia, but always early in the game...)

    Thanks DeI

Looks good! Looks like Rome will make you fight for your empire.

I'm currently playing as the Lusitani in the HatG campaign, and have all of Iberia bar 3 regions, two owned by Rome that'll attack once I make sure Carthage can't attack me again, and the Turdetani who are my allies, basically my client but with the benefit of being independent.

I'm currently expanding into Africa and the Balearic isles, my faction leader hasn't been defeated, is basically unmatched in hand to hand combat, and pretty much has stopped caring for prisoners and just kills them.

Like your campaign, Rome has expanded quickly, and when I discovered they were my neighbours already I was slightly scared they were coming for me next, but thankfully they wanted trade and seemed to like the fact I was fighting the same people as them. Instead I'm raiding Massalia and trying to get them to wage war on me so I don't need to fight Rome at the same time, and take land and split their forces up.

I was playing as Rome, decided to go north early by recruiting lots of cheaper units, Hastati and Axe men mainly. Started out ok took the 3 northern cities to make 2 whole provinces intotal. Then the whole of the northern tribes declared war on me while i was still rebuilding and they took everything until all that was left was Rome. Which got besieged by 2 stacks of now supped up battle hardened Barbarians. Rome was lost and so was my first ever game of any total war series.

I almost play DeI since it was first released and have so far lost atleast 5 campaigns on hard/normal

Every time the dev team releases a new version and announces that the game has become even harder I think to myself: "What a fantastic news!"

Nonetheless, this mod is so damn good that I cannot thank you enough and enjoy almost every minute of losing

My campaign was a very very slow start. I was attempting total war achievement with Rome. At this point i'm 200+ turns far and Pergamon and Baktria have the east and germania. Egypt has the middle east. I have Gaul, Italy, Hellas, Spain and Africa. I am slowly pushing into Egypt homeland. Pergamon gave me some very fantastic battles. 3 of their armies against 1 of mine. The pikemen are really sturdy and hard to overcome.

Too bad I cannot progress any further, somehow the game keeps crashing when Baktria has its turn. But as it went, i should have been able to win the campaign. Pergamon has laid off any attacks so far for 15 turns after beating them back 50 times at Navissos.

I'm not sure I want to attempt it again, but this campaign was the most fun to play actually. Some fights were heroic in the sense that I faced defeat. Too bad it was only Pergamon who is able to give me some fight. The other factions are more or less just suicidal on my legionairies.

You can progress, just send your save to Litharion and he should fix it

No need to fix it. It was fun while it lasted. It became a burden to load it up and actually finish it. Like I said, Only Pergamon was able to give me any fight. The others are just their being a nuisance. I started again, with a new campaign (total war achievement) but this time with the Iceni. Maybe this will give me more challenge.

I played the vanilla version once, since then I'm playing DEI on very hard campaign/Normal battles and never lost a campaign.

After I stomped Carthage, the Selucids declared war on me when I was far, far away and had no supplies. Slogging through the middle east was a true chore, but eventually things stabilized to the point where I routed their armies with ease. No opponent was even close to a match for me militarily, it was all supply trouble.

So I'm now at the very endgame -- I have 8 elite legions ready to go and sack greece...and then, the world.

So i am playing as rome! Before i start: Thanks guys for this awesome mod! I never thought i will enjoy Rome 2 the same way i enjoyed Shogun 1 (my first total war)

So i am so exited! I am about in turn 150! (My Generals are still alive haha) and now the final fight between carthage and rome will start!

    But what happend so far?
After i got control over the whole Cisalpina provice, i felt strong enough to attack Carthage. So i decided to walk south to sizilia, with my two about 14 to 16 units strong legions . Well that was a bad idea! After i left the alps all 3 celtic factions (noria and so on) declared war on me and ran over my provinces in the alps! So i had to walk back to the alps to fight against the barbarian invaders! (well at the same time against 3 factions with only two legions and no Money... that was bad and hard!!!)
So... about 60 fights and many many rebellions and slave revolts later i am the ruler above Germany and half of France! (I couldnīt stop the celtic tribes were so big, one of them i think the boii hat a territoy up to denmark)

And now i came to the border of the carthage faction... but not in the south of italy where i thought... no... they invaded spain and controll now the COMPLETE land!!!!

They are stronger than rome... i love this mod!!! That happend never before! A big fight against an other big Country!

I think i will build a fleet and gain controlle above sardinia und sizila first... after that i will attack spain that will lead me to the most epic battle in Rome 2 history... the storm against the mayorcity of carthage *fap fap fap

But thats not the end... Macedon, Seleucid and egypt are way way stronger than carthage
    Thanks for this mod!!!
