Install Problems
Hello Everyone, I just bought Medieval 2 and started to install it. About 9 segments through the install of the first disk I get an error message that says this
Feature: Packs
Component: packs
File: E:\Main\packs\data_2.pack
Error: The parameter is incorrect
I've tried installing it a 2nd and 3rd time just to make sure and surely enough the same message pops up.
If it helps ID the problem, E drive is my DVD player though this is probably obvious.

Re: Install Problems
Hmm, just a question (and this as happened but a different message to others) does your PC have all the requirements? Check on the back of the case. Other than that I am not sure.

Re: Install Problems
yeah my computer has 1 gig ram, 3.2 cpu, 256 geforce 7600 video card, 200 gig hard drive. the iffy part is my dvd drive. It doesnt actually say its a dvd drive on the drive itself but the box it came in says it is and it can play dvd movies and stuff. also i tried installing the game on my friends computer and it worked (his dvd drive says DVD right on the front). maybe its my dvd driver? I cant find any drivers to download online.

Re: Install Problems
Hmm, yes if it doesn't say DVD drive on it, it's probably not going to work...

Re: Install Problems
Lots of noname-crap DVD-players have problems reading discs. Do yourself a favour to prevent future grief and shell out $30 for a decent (branded) DVDRW.

Re: Install Problems
Same problem with the discs, I put on friends comp, made an Iso of the discs. Put on my External Hard Drive, Mounted them on daemon tools. Works fine...more than likely your dvd drive is dead(try driver updates maybe too)
