{IND} Bugs & Problems

Hey there IND players,

due to some recent problems I provide this thread to you, to post your bugs and other problems.

Please, if you have a crash or whatever, follow this "rules":

• Turn number of your crash
• Which faction do you play
• In any case, please attach the log file (found under: ...SEGA\Medieval II Total War\logs) (the complete text file!!)
• And your last action (click "yes" or "no" during an event, starting a battle, etc..)

If you mind these "rules" I'd be very grateful and also I can help you much faster, when I have all this information.

Well it worked for me. But a lot of the text is still in German even after I replaced the text files.

Did you install the latest version? I mean the one above? Cos for this one you won't have to delete or copy any txt files.

I've deleted all the 4 files because when i launch the .exe doesn't appear any installation window, and after giving launch to .exe file if I want delete it I can do it only disabling services in "configuration sistem". Never happen before.

That occurred because your system was still loading the exe files.

Edit: I have moved our posts to this sections, since it is the more proper place to discuss these issues.

Did you find any solution for the installation problem?

You shouldn't have any problems with extracting these files

UPDATE: I solved my exe problem, it was the anti virus, must be what's bugging the other users too. Just put the folder in exceptions in your anti virus.

I put all files in the folder, start the exe, but nothing happens, the cursor only gets the loading circle.

I have a problem during installation: file corrupted or unreadable data/models/late_northern_captain_england_strat.tga but i downloaded four times i seems strange.

Hey there hate to bother you some more

So finally getting back into total war and I wanted to try this mod cause I really liked your Italian wars mod.

I downloaded all 4 parts and then ran the installer and went over smoothly however whenever I start it up it plays vanilla m2tw. I changed the file folder to crusades to start with kingdoms but agian no dice. Let me know what I can do to start it I remember you had to show me how to change a file thingy to start Italian Wars I'm wondering if its the same.

This is my problem right now.
Running the mod shortcut makes the game run vanilla M2TW.
Could the developers help me?

Me, I didn't have problems with installing some time ago - maybe it required the change of the path in the config file, I'm not sure.

Unfortunately, Aenerin has disappeared and doesn't seem to drop for a look to TWC, even for his more developed mod, The Italian Wars.

Fortunately, you can play this area in the Broken Crescent mod (and obviously in some bigger-scale mods, like SS-family).
