Biography: With two brothers who follow his every command, Theo is in a position where he is capable of furthering his own ambitions without having to watch his back for the envy of siblings. A born leader, with an easy smile and sharp mind, Lord Costayne has ruled for nigh on twenty years, through strife and trial. After every disaster, he has emerged with fresh vitality, new ideas and a determination unquenchable by all the water in the Sunset Sea.

Biography: A quiet and brooding man, Samwell is often regarded as the cement which binds the three brothers together. Without him, there was no real fire driving the three Costaynes. He is the one whom can be relied on to do what even the most trusted servants would refuse to carry out. Rumours have circled since his late teens about babes slain at the breast, of crofts butchered without survivors and caravans raided. These rumours place Samwell as the perpetrator, but never has he been brought to account.
Alester Costayne

Biography: The youngest of the Costayne brothers, Alester has had a very strong relationship with his elder brothers. A trusted adviser and confidant, Alester is known for being an exemplar soldier. Fostered with Theo at Uplands, the two brothers believed that they left a lasting impression on their neighbours. Lacking the ambition of his lordly brother, Alester was more than happy to further Theo's desire for promoting Costayne's power by marrying in to House Mullendore.
