House and Character claims have been updated. All claims are valid until approximately Monday evening in the US. That gives anyone 3 full days to at the very least, make a post stating that they will uphold their claim.
Be aware that, with the removal of spy usage and their mechanics, that the traits counterspy and spymaster have also been removed from the rules.
Please make sure that any characters that have those traits currently should have them removed and redistributed to other traits.

Eredin notified me of a change needed to be done to make Manderly powerful since House Peake was more powerful with the original ruleset.
Dustonbury, which has replaced New Barrel, has a Medium Levy and is a Very Prosperous location; equal to House Peake's holding of Starpike.

The Regional Bonuses are out of date and built for only a small number of Iron Islands provinces. As we are all Ironborn and no one is playing other Kingdoms, consider them suspended for the duration of this game.
Professional soldiers points is now set to:
3,000 cap for Land Troops
3,000 cap for Ships
It is no longer a 3,000 cap in total, but 3,000 per land/sea.
I have made an error in my maths and have had to change the Naval Militia the Ironborn start with.
For High Lords it used to be 5 Longships and 20 Dromonds which I said was 800 points - it isn't. So it's now 10 Longships. Same for Minor Lords, it's now just 6 Longships.
If your militias are already raised and you're using them don't feel you have to change it right now: next time you call them up you should change it, though.
For this week only, all build times for building construction can be backdated back to last Friday, April 22 due to our unusual start date. This will allow the next round of building construction to be synced up with our normal income day so you only have to do incomes once a week from that point on instead of twice, once you get the income and once when you actually do the building.
I hope everyone remembers that in the last game we implemented a cost to raise levies and militia troops.
- 5 Dragons per Levy Point.
- 2 Dragons per Militia Point.
Payable each week they're raised.
Let me explain the system in a way that you guys can understand it, separated clearly into what a player has and what an AI has which is different. We're working with a 3-tiered soldier system composing of levy soldiers, militia soldiers, and professional soldiers.
Levies can only be made up of archers and light infantry units. Levies take 24 hours to be mustered and cost 5 dragons per point mustered. Levies will only fight for you for a max time of two weeks, 14 days before they return home and get disbanded. They cannot be called up again a certain amount of time based on the following conditions:
- If a levy has been called up for less then 7 days and the disbanded, you must wiat 7 days before the levy can be called up again.
- If it has been 8 or more days since the levy was called up, you have to wait 14 days before you can call on your levies again.
Militia soldiers are your next tier of soldiers that can be made up of any unit type except for Elite infantry and cavalry. They do not have a time limit on how long they can serve and only take 12 hours to muster. Militia cost an upkeep of 2 dragons per year per point mustered.
Finally, professional soldiers are the last elite tier that can be composed of any unit type. They are always mustered and their upkeep is determined by the type of unit that you employ.
The following is how you get each time of unit as well as their cap limits.

For AI Houses
I made this offer to LD so I might as well offer it to everyone else. If you ever need help in putting together your army compositions, send me a PM and I'll at least get the total levy and militia troops setup for you for your region (minus any player vassals of course unless I get that info from them myself) so that the only thing that you have to do is to figure out how to divide your men into armies.
After discussing with someone through a PM, I realized that we implemented something a while ago to help sellsword/sellsail characters. Instead of having to start off small, these characters were given a boost in the following way in order to be more meaningful. I've pulled the following completely from memory so it might be slightly different then what we used to grant but it seems fair enough.
- Star as Mercenary Captain rank with the income at that level too
- Small Guild already purchased
- 1,500 troop points already purchased
This for all players. Please keep your army threads updated with the correct information including the following:
- Army Compositions
- Army Location
- Commanders (if any)
I'm having trouble finding accurate information on a lot of the armies and it's going to slow down any moderation that you're going to get from me (and other mods) as a result, especially for scout rolls. Please try to get that information updated soon.
just so everyone knows what the mods are doing for the battles:
- Poach is going to roll the big combined KL battle
- LM will be rolling the smaller battle tot he North of KL
- I will be rolling Riverrun, once I get orders from LD, and the naval battle at Claw Isle. I'll need orders from BF and LM for that.
Here's the current list of moderators for this forum and what role they serve in:
Senior Mods: Poach, Lucius Malfoy, Honors Bastion
Junior Mods: Pontifex Maximus, Jokern, Gandalf, Trot
The main difference between the two types is that Senior Mods are also tasked with rolling battles as those take a lot of time that our junior mods might not have the time to do. Otherwise, junior mods can do most if not all of the rest of the moderating duties.
A guide for what Junior Moderators can do can be found here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...oderator-Guide
The mods have decided game events require a player to take control of Rhaegar sooner than expected, and as such Pontifex Maximus was selected to control the Crown Prince. This decision was made prior to the events in the trial thread, but those events require the announcement be moved up.
New late-start table:
Start X weeks late...
4: Four Tier I or II buildings, which must follow the building tree (eg you must have the Tier I building to get the Tier II one), and double starting purse.
6: Four Tier I, II or III buildings, which must follow the building tree, and double starting purse.
8: Six Tier I, II or III buildings, which must follow the building tree, and double starting purse.
As there seems to be confusion, this DOES NOT apply to newly acquired titles or land. This applies only to freshly signed up Houses. Characters from existing houses that are granted new titles or territories do not qualify for this.
It's meant to allow people signing up new houses to catch up a bit, not as a golden handshake for expanding pre-existing houses.

Alright the King's death is common knowledge now, but we will ask that players do not rush the capital. Take it slow for the next 48 hours or so for every player to properly react to all the events that have taken place. Thank you for your understanding.
Please be advised that the Ravens Rules are in effect at this point. I apologize for the belated application of these rules. Since this ruleset has been specifically adopted for this incarnation I will delay adding it to the official rules.
- Within your own 'Kingdom' (eg inside the Reach) = 1 hour (that is roughly 2 days ingame)
- To neighbouring Kingdoms (eg Westerlands to Riverlands or Reach) = 7 hours (2 weeks ingame)
- Over every 'Kingdom' afterwards = 7 more hours (eg Dorne to North is Dorne > Stormlands > Crownlands > Riverlands > North, or 4 'hops', so 4*7 = 28 hours, or 2 months ingame)
