It gives me great pleasure and honour to nominate my friend Flinn for the Phalera award, as a gesture of appreciation for his altruistic intentions which have always animated his posts from the PH&A section. Ever since March 2013 (roughly four months after joining TWC), he has dedicated a great deal of his time spent on this site to help others by giving them the best personal advices possible. I usually wouldn't mention the number of his posts there, but I really need to do that, as a measurement of the amplitude of his involvement in the PH&A subforum. Right now, I believe the number of his posts there is 415, about 1/7 of his current postcount. And I'm not talking about 415 one-liners here, but thoughtful and meaningful posts.

Recently (last month), Flinn successfully applied to become local moderator for the PH&A, which says a lot about his intentions to continue what he does best, and that is lending a help to all those who seek personal advice.

Aside from his posts, he has tried to offer solutions to more delicate problems to at least 5 TWC users via PMs, following the trust his activity generated amongst those people; for personal reasons, he never told me who these people are, and I certainly didn't ask for names. I won't call out any of these users, but if anyone of them sees this and want to publicly endorse Flinn's nomination, he can always PM me about it for as long as this thread remains open.

For those of you that don't know him (how is that even possible?), or are not familiar with his posts, I've attached an extensive list of some of Flinn's most relevant posts from PH&A.

First time I saw him, years ago, was at PH&A. I was very pleasantly surprised by his common sense, friendly attitude and knowledge. We should be grateful that he continues to participate in such a special subforum.

    Aha, uncle Max in action.

I visited the PH&A section on a few occasions and sometimes I even tried to be helpful by posting some advice or simply some words of encouragement or support. This is nowhere near what Flinn has done there though. I also remember him asking me to post in a particular thread because he thought I might have something useful to contribute there. When trying to help others, this Italian dadaist dudeist always goes the extra mile.

Based on helping others I was referring to, that is unsual in a positive way. Apologies if my one-liner may have caused confusion. I very much like to see Flinn brought here for that award.
