as the title implies, We were listening to frecnh music in class and now im quite curious about it. Preferably alternative or rock, like Keane pretty much.

Absolutely, I second this. His work is great. I only have his CD "les retrouvailles" though. There are some music-clips on his official site. I most certainly love that song with the singer of the Cocteau Twins, although that's of no use as far as lyrics are concerned (gibberish).
