    Default Korinthos Hoplites' Suggestions

I'll post my *hopefully* reasonable suggestions here and keep this updated with new ideas.

    1. Re-do rebel faction icons (greek, roman etc.). I often get confused by seeing vanilla's.

    2. Re-do the symbol for Ptolemies to make it historically accurate. Don't forget about the unit skins though.

    3. Download and equip the mod with the melee version of legionary cavalry. The mod comes with the late auxila cavalry model instead of the legionary cavalry model. Contact ferres if you can't find the link.

    4. Give basic peasant clothes to most barbarian units, except for fanatic and armoured troops.

    5. Keep the map where you choose the faction for the campaign updated, I just started a Scythian campaign because they had few provinces, only to find out they had about 5, and large ones.

    6. Change the colour of either mercenaries or AOR units, to make a distinction between them. If you don't, you may be confused when two similar units are fighting.

    7. Change the skin of all units whose colour isn't corresponding to their faction.

    8. Re-do unit and UI cards that no longer represent the unit's skin/model (including all romans). Ex: companion cavalry, heavy scutarii, round shield cavalry...

    9. Tweak upkeep costs to make them less similar. Increase general's bodyguards' upkeep. Decrease cavalry upkeep.

    10. Try to make unit recruitment costs more accurate and varied. Such costs could be tested on custom battles to see the true effectiveness of each unit. I may post my cost list in a day or two.

    11. This one is a bit tougher: create new ptolemaic skins to send that 'return of the mumy' feeling to hell.

    12. Change AOR and imitation legionaries' animation to fs_s1_gladius, like the other roman infantry has.

    13. Reduce the number of starting regions for some factions. Ex: make the maximum start regions be 5, managing more than 5 in the start can be tricky, for me at least.

    14. Greek Cities' phalangites have a graphical bug, the helmet crest seems to have two yellow lines over it, this happens with the low and medium quality models, lowest quality models seem to work fine.

    2. Re-do the symbol for Ptolemies (like you did with macedon), including the one on phalangite's shields.

    3. Download and equip the mod with the melee version of legionary cavalry (also done by ferres).

    7. Change the colour of rebel factions (not THE rebels) to represent the colour of their faction symbol.

    8. Re-do unit and UI cards that no longer represent the unit's skin/model (including all romans).

    9. Reduce slightly unit upkeep costs as it drains a hell lot of money.

    10. Try to make unit recruitment costs more accurate and varied.
    1) Doable, just find better icons

    2) Doable, at DBH pleasure

    3) Can you give more details on it?

    4) Doable, if DBH has time

    5) Noted, should be updated

    6) Some mercs are the same unit as AOR

    7) Can you elaborate please?

    8) DBH can answer on that

    9) Costs are made to have less stacks around, it's a mod feature.

    10) Sure, we're open to suggestions

    6. Change the colour of either mercenaries or AOR units, to make a distinction between them. If you don't, you'll get even worse clone-wars.

    7. Change the colour of rebel units to represent the colour of their faction symbol. Ex: greek rebels with green equipment.

    8. Re-do unit and UI cards that no longer represent the unit's skin/model (including all romans).

    1) Yeah, im all in favour of this.

    2) I dont know whats wrong with the symbol at the moment. And i dont see what's wrong with the phalangite shield either. Care to elaborate?

    3) doesnt matter to me, i use vanilla romans not ML ones.

    4) I kinda like them as they are now. But changing them could look ok too

    5) I agree, good to hear its getting done by Zarax

    6) Well if 7 is implemented this wouldnt be too much of a problem would it? but as it is clone armies dont actually bother me.

    7) great idea, but would require a fair bit of effort

    8) Like i said above, i dont use ML. If the unit cards are changed, is it hard to change it back to the vanilla ones? Just a personal question

    9) As said by Zarax, its intentional. Personally i quite like it, because having to fight dozens of enemy stacks to get anywhere gets old quickly.

    10) Sounds good, as long as you dont make them too much cheaper than they are at the moment (relating back to #9)

#7 Like i said before in another thread, if DBH will use em ill do them all, no elaborations just straight up color changes, except maybe some of zarax's suggestions. changing the banner itself is beyond me, I'm just handy with photoshop.

I'll keep these suggestions here until the mod follows them, or when someone gives me a reason to forget one/some of them.
