Help with photoshop 9

I havent use PS for a long time,last time i have instaled PS on mine pc it was PS8 , now i install PS9 and it takes to many resources from mine pc constantly
untill pc freze,i try with PS8 and it was all righ.
Did anyone know with what aplication PS9 is conflicting
i have XPsp2, atlon64 3200, 6600GF, 512mbRAM

The computer automatically resets right? It happens to me as well when I use layers for example, when I use high dimension layers. Just make sure you disable everything that eats your resources, like antiviruses and such, make sure you use layers carefully and you zoom out whenever you have a high dimension layer to work with. I don't think there is anything to do about it except add four times as much RAM as you currently have. I use Photoshop CS 2 btw, and have 768 DDR on Intel P4 @2666 MHz
