The leaked files pertaining to a Charlemagne themed expansion were discovered in Attila's Modding Kit on the 6th of October. This was followed by complete silence on the subject by CA until the 24th of November. Thats 49 days or 7 weeks, of allowing speculation and potentially hype to build. Was this a cunning marketing technique to gauge excitement for the expansion, or a simple mistake followed by CA's traditional tactic of only engaging the community when it is ready to sell something. If it is the latter, one once again wonders what possible benefit the delay in confirming the existence of the Charlemagne DLC could give CA. Indeed, as soon as the files were discovered, why not immediately come out and confirm/deny it?
Thoughts?
