Syfy isn't footing the bill for this one...so it could keep going as long as the investors don't care how many people are watching.

Even if it did get cancelled, there is still Netflix and Amazon, both of which own streaming rights (internationally and US based, respectively)

I'll probably finish Defiance before I start this.

Defiance is pretty good. Shame it only got three season but it ends well enough.

This show and 12 Monkeys are pretty much the best shows that Syfy has done since BSG, I'd argue.

Season 1 is also on Netflix, if you have that anyway.

Since I haven't read Leviathan Wakes, I did not expect that ending. I mean in a way I did, but at the same time I didn't.

Season 2 looks like it's only gonna get better though.

But, the ship exploded. I don't see how they are going to survive though.

Did it make much sense when a rock with no visible means of propulsion mechanism started moving at 20+ gravities of acceleration without Miller being able to feel it? Or that it was able to disappear from radar? Or that it was able to turn into some sort of hive-mind type thing?

The most recent episode had such a beautiful ending.

It also ended the storyline of the first book, Leviathan Wakes.

So this upcoming week we begin Caliban's War.

    Clip from the ending

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Given what they're gonna accomplish it's actually gonna make sense.

Just gonna say as someone who's read the series:

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable. Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Gastovski had problems with something being able to survive smashing into the pressure cooker of Venus. My questions where rhetorical, asked to make a point. I've read the books as well, never fear.

Anyone still watching this. Awesome show but the last was a bit slow and it differed a lot from the second book. Did this insurrection happen in the second book? Or did they move up the later attack from the 3rd book?

Seems to be a series of character building exercises, except for Holden, who's really just coming to terms with his leadership role.

I really like Fred's execution officer, who has very clear priorities.

They have now been sent there (or rather, they just went there without on their own accord). What I don't remember from the book is the OPA infighting but that could just be me.

    Absolutely brilliant series.
