Okay, guys. Go easy on me here. Newbe alert!
I've got Max 6, I've got the Max6 Bible and reading it like the other Bible, I'm reading tutorials, I'm going to download Professor's videos when I can spare enough time. I trying to learn it without whining...but I need a little help.
I'm trying to get the head off one model to attach to another. But I must be doing something wrong, because whatever I try, I end up importing the whole bone structure with it. Is there anyone who can give me the quick-step version on how to sever and link body parts? Or, failing that, point me to a tutorial that shows how to?![]()
I've tried removing the heads by selecting all the vertices, hitting "unlink" and saving it and merging it into my model, but I get the aforementioned problem. I've removed the bone structure and tried it; I've deleted everything but the head and tried it... What am I doing wrong? It's easy enough with weapons and shields.
Also, does RTW work with "editable poly" models? The models load up as "editable mesh", but I've read a few tutorials that sound like they're using polys.
