A United Strike

The Count Of Tripoli prepared his forces four thousand strong arrayed in columns about five leagues to the east of the sea. The order was given and the army marched north towards Maraclea.

Advance scouts rode hard north to relay information with Antioch forces who would be striking south.

A further two thousand men were encamped near the northern border of the county in case they were needed to reinforce.

In the north, a similar sized group of around four thousand men was marching south.

Stephen surveyed his army from atop his horse, giving a small, satisfied smile at seeing his forces arrayed in such a manner. Jableh would fall. He would be certain of it.
