Family Feuds
I dont know if anyone has thought about this but my King has two sons and I was wondering if there could be a fight for the throne??
In another case King Rufus died and Robert got the crown but rufus had a son, Can a mod be made to have a battle for that crown? It sounds crazy but I thought it would be cool. Two heirs to the throne but only can get the crown. I dont know if this makes sense but please give me some feedback on this topic

Well, something can happen. When one takes the thrown, if the loyalty of the other is low, he might revolt, but only seen it happen once, and it was a captain going rebel. But the chance is there built into the game

Re: Family Feuds
It's actually unfortunate that there are not more civil wars.
IRL, after William the Conqueror died, his sons fought it out, and it was his youngest son, Henry, that beat off Robert and Rufus for the crown.

Re: Family Feuds
Do you think there is anything that can be done from a modding stand point to make this dream a reality?
You are right to bring history into light with the fact that the brothers did fight for the throne.
How cool would it be for one brother to go out and raise up an army to march on his family member on the throne.
Are the logistics too far fetched? I hope a programmer or a modder is reading this and is up to the challenge. This would make a great twist to what is already a great game and series.

Re: Family Feuds
I highly doubt that this idea can be made possible via modding, but it would be an outstanding idea for an expansion pack.
Imagine this:
Once the faction leader dies, and the criteria for civil war are met, you could choose which family member you'd want to control for the "battle of the throne" that will ensue. Your decision would depend on each family member's traits, ideally you'd want to pick the side of the family member which has more potential for development. Each family member has their own army, and this army comes from units that you’ve built within your empire. Before you make your decision, the game shows you which family member has control of which units. The weaker family member may have 10 units of highly upgraded knights which you’ve spent time building, but you don’t want him to inherit the throne since he is the weaker of the 2 family members, yet you don’t dare face him due to his arsenal of knights, which you would also hate to lose on the same token. This would add a whole new element of strategic decision making to the game.
Realistically speaking though, this probably won't come in an expansion, I think we'll have to wait until the next TW game.
We should seriously make a list of desired features for an expansion pack and sticky it on this board so CA can take a look at it.
