Default Edit - Status of mod

I have been away for a couple months and return to not see much new and everything quiet. Did the team die or separate?? What's the latest with this project? I see DeI has a new release but no update on this end.

    i appreciate any info

We had our very first development meeting this Tuesday, discussing the development process and how we can improve it, speeding up progress. Thankfully, many attended. Much goes on behind the scenes even though it's not all transparent to the public. It's not dead, and I'm sure we all intend it to stay that way, to deliver a most satisfying modification in the end of the process. Many of us have invested far too much time (and soul) to let this opportunity slip out of our hands.

most definitely not! The Rome 2 side of things are being worked on but there is a lot to do and with mostly everyone focused on Attila it takes longer than everything else. We should have a new beta test pack out soon, but we are re organising our beta testers first .

It's taking a long time; but then again mods like these need time.

I don't know how anyone could read (among several others) the WIP thread, the Legion of the Week thread, or the faction reveal threads and see that not much has been done in the last couple months. Hell, the Pergamon sticky is less than a week old.

I was thinking the same how can he miss that if he checks so now and then!.

And DeI maybe released a new version but they got also a mutch bigger team then AE and since Atilla is there main project you sould not exspect a updated version right away. "I did not even played DeI yet because i'm waiting for the AE sub-mod but i do know it can take some time because of there small team and not being there main goal" But i also hope it will happen soon!.......

Sure we all love more news but even when it's quiet for some time don't means the mod is dead.

Admittedly legions of the week have been unupdated due to UMCenturion having an adventure in the "real world", what ever that is

    Of course not!!

This is a very big project, so take time to make it, and we, the team, have real jobs, studies... We make this as hobby in our free time. But of course is not death! Im working in 6 factions right now (two are very close to be finish) and we'll post a new faction preview in the next days. Dont worry, AE will not die!!

Yeah we aren't dead. It has just been hard on the team with so many studying. In fact we are all still working hard on the mod. Just because previews aren't daily doesn't mean we have given up

We just released a faction preview one week ago, how could you think we're dead?

With the amount of team members replying in this thread too, think it makes things pretty clear

Haha far from it. And I am here. My "adventures" are slowing down, and Thanksgiving week I will be putting in significant hours into the mod. Been playing catch up with a few things on the with the General UI and characters project, and the legions have had to take a backseat at the moment. But some good stuff coming soon for sure!

Great to hear! This mod is the only reason I still have Attila installed.
