small mod question for DEI

Hello all, just wanted to ask with DEI how could I modify, for example the temple of athens building chain to give greater research bonuses?

me and a friend want to play a shorter game and would want to reduce the time it takes to tech up then just demolish the building when we wish

Fooling around in PFM only part one of DEI has the buildings effect array, I tried altering the bonuses but in game they dont seem to change

is it possible another mod is overriding DEI, or I am I in the wrong area to modify that? (used to mod a bit when rome 2 first came out and this was the method i used back then)

oh and if anyone has any ideas on how to acheive a similar effect id be very thankfull if you could point me in that direction

I too have a small modding question. I wish to make the Tophet available to carthage in HatG. I've scoured the internet as to how to do this, no luck. Tried achieving it through the required_technologies, didn't work.

That should be available already after building a level 4 Baal temple.
