Icon3 Work in Progress Fix Pack 1.1c (Now part of the main mod)

This pack has now been added to the main mod in the latest update.

    1.1c Update Notes

    Supply System Fixes
    - Added UI representation for regional supply, you can access it by hovering the mouse over the food amount icon (next to the bread symbol). The region selected will be the one displayed there. The values an army uses are currently not represented but should be with a later update.
    - Removed attrition being applied to barbarian transport fleets on sea.
    - Transport ships in ports don't suffer from attrition.
    - Fixed nomadic allied supply not being removed.
    - Fixed Foraging in owned regions not working correctly for civilized faction.
    - Reduced supply line reach for capitals without supply buildings to 1 region.
    - Lowered major trade port supply reach by 1.
    - Increased Foraging supply usage for civilized factions.
    - Transport ships resting in ports for a turn will receive additional movement points.
    - Regions can now store supplies, stored supplies can only be accessed by the owning faction.
    - Added Supply baggage train recruitment to towns for African factions.

    Battle Fixes
    - Slight increase to missile block chance of certain shields.
    - Slight increase to anti-missile defence of low tier cavalry armour.
    - Arrows towers more accurate but with less attack - less friendly fire due to lack of cotnrol over own towers.
    - Slight increase for cavalry bow reload time.
    - Multiple morale tweaks.
    - Artillery crews melee ability slightly decreased.
    - Cavalry shield defence increased.
    - Fixed Boii sword animations not being barbarian.
    - Fixed British unit missing legs.

    General Fixes
    - Finally fixed one of the end of turn crash issues that has been in the mod for a long time. Huge thanks to Litharion for all the work identifying it. Some crash issues may still exist, if you get them please report the circumstances.
    - Fixed old Hellenic auxiliary barracks being available for conversion for Thracians.
    - Fixed Armenian medicus giving Parni culture.
    - Increased AI budget for fleets.
    - Fixed Costoboci Hillmen mispelled name.
    - Fixed naval AI recruitment for some factions.

Just a questions regarding the fixpacks.
Do you need to have all the packs (a, b and c) separately or does the c fix substitute the former ones?

BTW: thanks for your immense work on this mod!!!

The a and b packs are now included in the main DeI release. Make sure you have the newest version of the main mod, and you only need this c pack in addition.

All you need is the main mod and this fix pack. The other fix packs have been included in the main mod
So fix pack a and b is now included with this ---> LINK
So you only need to download fix pack c. Eventually c will also be included in the main mod.

when you say fix a + b are included in the main mod, does that also count for the steam version or just for the standalone version or automatically for both?

i am using the steam version and i wasnt seeing any new downloading going on in my mod manager the last few days (could have just missed it though).

    thanks for any help!

Yeah, both the standalone and Steam versions are updated with the a and b fix packs.

I am sorry, I am not sure how to install this fix.

Are these instructions for users of the Steam Workshop as well? If not what do you do differently if you downloaded through the Steam Workshop?

Either way, just download the pack, save it to your data folder, and enable it in the game's launcher. That's it.

I've looked through the change notes I can find, and I can't locate the answer to my question: have the Macedonian Wars scripts governing Roman reinforcements (stack spawns) been added to the MW campaign yet? If and when they are added, will they be save game compatible?

They have not been added. They aren't a priority at the moment, still working on fixing things. When they are added, they should be compatible.

No problem - the campaign is plenty fun even without them. Though I will definitely be excited to try a Macedon play through again once the scripts are added, just for the full challenge of facing a stronger Roman opponent. Thanks for the quick response!

    Updated with some more fixes.

We should have a fix for AI turn crashes to test soon.

I am sorry but I can't seem to be able to enable this fix. I saved the .pack file in the data folder and when I launch Steam I see the pack, but when I try to upload it, it says: "You must have a preview image called @@@@@whateverthenameofthefile.png..."

Is there a guide on how to install these quick fixes? Also, when this is included in the main mod, do I need to go and manually remove this pack file?

Simple and easy way to install these fixes:

    Download fix

Move download file to your version of C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data

Make sure it is alphabetically located above _divide_et_impera_release_1.pack

Personally for me, I end up renaming the fixes to @cfixpack (The c changes based on which fix pack it is) since I was noticing with the previous pack it was causing some issues with a submod due to loading before it no matter the @@'s included. Removing the numbers solved the problem for me. Hope this helps!

Don't upload it! It'd add this to steam workshop as your mod. Just check it in launcher like main mod, check "enable out of date mods" and launch the game.

This did it for me, thank you. I had it in the right folder but you need to click the "enable out of date mods" option or it won't work. Thank you again, fellow DEI enthusiast!

I already made a post in the bug thread but I wasn't sure if it was noticed (or if it was a bug.) I'm playing Masaesyli and had level 2 armor on units with 0 initial armor and the effect was nothing happened. Is there an effect which I'm not seeing, or is it just that these units with 0 armor can't get armor bonuses? If it's the latter is it possible to disable them having the armor upgrade available in the first place since they can't get the bonus anyways. It's a minor issue but it does get cluttered when all my units say they have upgrades available and aren't affected by them.
