"Lag" on good system?

Hi, I have a fairly good computer, and the game runs very smooth on highest settings.
But I encounterd one problem: The game doesn't lag, but every 10 seconds or so it just stops for the part of a second (video and audio), then runs smooth again.
Other Total war titles (every one from EMpire to Rome 2) don't have the problem.

My Computer is a Notebook with win 10 (was already installed, so no upgrade problems), and a nvidia 940m with 2 GB and a Intel core i7 5500 U with two cores (2.4 to 3.0 GH with Turboboost).
Oh and I am using the Steam Version.

Could be due to the game using only one core for M2TW, if you are running on 2.4 GHz you normally might experience some lag which may result in this 'jerk' instead.
