So with the desire for a restart, I have decided to comply and give this roleplay a chance once more. If this doesn't work out, I will declare it dead and have it archived.

The latter two settings will have the historical Crusader States set up. It will save time and that's what I want to do. Historical Crusader States will be set up (with historical starting borders), but its composition of vassal titles will be up to the players. For Example: Acre is historically a vassal of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. If Iron still wants it and his principality, he can be the Prince of Acre as a vassal of Jerusalem.

Also, might as well mention, with the latter two options, should we have an election for the King of Jerusalem or should Julien be the King as he is the only one with the ambition for Jerusalem.

Principality of Antioch was a historical Crusader state, LW. So it will be present.

@Skylord: I think he wanted Acre more so. LW and him had a dispute over who would have Tripoli though.

Just to clarify, the historical Crusader States will be the County of Tripoli, the Principality of Antioch, the County of Edessa and the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

I'm happy with Julien installed as King of Jerusalem.

Pretty sure Iron wants Tripoli, though.

LW, he pretty much said the players can decide on their titles. If you want Antioch then apply for it.

I'm happy with either of the later two scenarios, and I think we should have an election if he wants, de Baluun can stand for King, but it just gives other lords a chance to show ambition.

I wanted to start with the siege of Antioch but i voted for the siege of Jeruzalem because otherwise we may risk a stall again with the march to jeruzalem.

@LM, is it allowed to create non historical realms like 'county of Damascus', 'County of Acre' or are we stuck with those four historical ones only?

I believe there will be more than enough land for all players, but some of us will be vassals to the higher lords like Antioch, Tripoli, etc.

one more question, will players be assigned to realms before Jeruzalem is captured? Do we have to choose between lands in the historical realms or can we also claim Damascus to play with?

People will get to choose where they wanna be among the four Crusader States. Damascus is not taken, sorry, so it will not be allowed to be claimed. I just wanna save time and go with the four historical Crusader States.

Well, there is only one vote for Antioch. I suggest we remove that option and re-run the vote. It'd make it quicker.

Alright so post siege won.

The starting event can either be the election of the King of Jerusalem (with resulting coronation of said winner) or skip the election and go straight for the coronation of Julien (since he was the only one with the ambition for Jerusalem ICly) with a possible invasion event right afterwards.

I think we should do the election. While only Julien wanted the Holy City, it gives the other players a chance to run, and if they lose it provides Cassus Belli later on in the form of "Jerusalem is mine! The Bastard cheated!" Etc.

yes well if we are going to have an election than we should put restrictions, ie anyone below a count cant run in the election cause realistically no one under that rank would ever be king

Not true, Jerusalem was a lamd of opportunity. A pauper in Europe could be a master of a city, and a master of a city could be a pauper.

Anyone below the rank of knight should probably be ineligible, but all of the nobility, high and low, should be allowed to put their names forwards.

that was a lie so people would go and fight in the holy land.... No knight or lesser lord has ever sat on the throne of Jerusalem it just wouldn't happen
