Default Just reloaded, Need some advice.

Like the title says, I reloaded Attila this morning, should be ready for me when I get home. I always play w/ mods. Overhauls. I played a little Attila back in March, tried both Radious and Fall of the Eagles, although it was early in development. I hoping to get some advice on which of those overhauls to try while I wait for the Ancient Empires Mod to come out. I have narrowed it down to either Radious overhaul or Fall of the Eagles. Pros, cons to each? Prefrences? Like to get a good Franks Campaign going. I guess the alternative is start with one or the other and go from there, but I have limited time and was hoping for some advice on this front. thanks.

Personally, I prefer fall of eagles. So, from Radious, I felt like more units were added, but it was easy to outgun the AI because there are so many units added, and due to the removal of the upgrade features, it doesn't really utilize the strongest units. Anyway, Fall of Eagles also removes the upgrade feature, however, it's pretty expensive to try to field armies of top tier units. Secondly, a lot of top tier units have unit caps, so even if you manage to make a steamrolling economy, you can't just field complete armies of elites. Fall of Eagles also felt like it had a better trade off in top tier units to me, as in there were super heavy units that were good for defense, but lighter units that are better at being offensive, so you could mix your infantry to set up line holders and flankers. I felt like in Radious the heavy units were just so superior that you would just want to do hammer and anvil all the time. Although, I guess you can take what I say with a grain of salt. I played WRE with both mods, so that's my perspective, and I played Radious first, and that was like... 3-4 months ago, where Fall of the Eagles is my current campaign.

All in all, more variety with Radious, but I found Fall of the Eagles to be more interesting because it didn't provide a clearly top tier army loadout and it was harder to make an economy that supports upper tier armies.
