Re: The King of Kings- A SS 6.4 HotSeat campaign {TWC/MTWII Gaming Group}
Denmark assassinated Polish King, so more troops could survive to completely block any movement Polish player could make to survive longer.
I have no idea if Denmark did same thing to my Hochmeister, but if he did this to Poland, I suppose he could kill the Hochmeister (meh, it wouldn't take you much to destroy both TO and Poland. You could do it even alone, without those 2 full French stacks you sent to help yourself). I would really like to have StOuFf kicked out of here for breaking the rules on purpose. And Denmark being heavily fined: Those 3 forts disbanded at Krakow and if he did same to TO Hochmeister, then his King's stack completely deleted and my Hochmeister with his stack restored on same place too. Otherwise I will not play against a cheater who performs forbidden moves to profit his faction.

Yeah I agree, I am kind of put off, especially as I am currently getting my ass kicked in this hot seat anyways.
Let me know.

What do you mean by "you assume a lot"?
He knew killing a Faction Leader would never be allowed unless you play an Iron-man Hotseat. It is not equal to building fourth fort that no one can reach when only 3 per region are allowed. Even putting troops on ships in ports is not that fatal imo. I'd understand it if he would kill a single general/family member that does not command the stack=has less stars. This would affect AR only a bit, but this wouldn't make a fort unbeatable (like in our case).
It was Turn 13, Dragon

I thought it could be possible after I got Polish save and checked the Family Tree. I will wait for you decision now.

see, I do have a hard time believing Stouff would intentionally cheat, he is a well-known and respected player around here. When one is in a hurry he is bound to make mistakes, when one has been playing or working for hours he is stressed. I'd rather wait and see what Stouff has to say first.

Assassinating a Faction Leader, and posted pictures that show it was killed in battle, is intentional cheating. That is unquestionable. No amount of stress, or time crunch, would make that unintentional. No amount of reputation as a player would make that unintentional. The admin intervention here should be a clear, strong and punitive.

I disagree but I doubt its worth discussing or if discussing will change anything, lets just wait out Stouff his answer.

Hahaha, I could happily discuss what constitutes an intentional act with you. It can be an interesting subject - at least to me. And yes there are ways most any act could be considered involuntary. But I doubt a plea of extreme intoxication, mental disorder or another form of automatism will be brought up here. And yes, discussing this further probably won't change anything and now I am just rambling

Umm, reloading assassination of Duke with 5% chance a dozen of times, then reloading a dozen of times to get good results in AR with Duke alive to get those pictures for people on forums, then replaying it again with Duke being dead again a dozen of times. Hell, that'd take me 2-3 hours to complete. And I see no other reason than to just cheat and beat Poland-TO faster this way. Really eager to see what StOuFf comes up with.

Re: The King of Kings- A SS 6.4 HotSeat campaign {TWC/MTWII Gaming Group}
its actually a "fun" story but you be the judge of it.
Have you ever saved over a savegame you did not want to save over? I assume things like this have happened to many, be it a word document or a save in any game.
The thing is this was a messy and chaotic turn which took way too long and I was forced to bring some good outcomes to have a chance against poland and the TO. Ramble says I could easily win, I must say I dont know what he is talking about, the war is in their favor I just cling to what I have and try to give a good fight.
I will try to lay out what happened:
Started the turn about 11 PM, tried many things - reloading pathing and positioning of troops and forts etc. had to scout a lot.
I could win the battle fair and square against the polish army, this is why i have pictures of it, those are not by any means doctored but it took about 3 hours of repositioning and reloading until I had an outcome that brought me enough men to still be a pain in the ass to poland.
My save/loading procedure normally works like this: I autosave after every move I make, be it spying or battles etc. if they go my way. for the battle with the polish king I made a save file after he was defeated and i had that good outcome I needed. it were both clear victories as far as I can remember.
Now it was time to play on the TO side of my turn, scouted again and tried a few things, to this moment I had about 3-4 different saves in which i had tried things and I wanted to save my TO scouting moves so i could use them later. I dont know how it happened but sometimes brains dont work properly so I saved over the one with the polish king dead - it was gone - unretrievable at least asfar as I know. now what? I couldnt possibly use the save file I had now, myforces were split, my king was near Turku with afew men and all my ships were split in the northern sea. All the other saves were from before I got that good outcome.
it was about 4 in the morning now, I had to get up at 8 - my son always wakes me up at 8, so I decided, that I could simply assasinate the polish king to get a good outcome again and I would not have to reload another hour to get this outcome. My assassins were in range, this was not planned or anything. In hindsight I should have at least told you guys about it. I could also have asked for an extension but honestly those reloading grinds are exhausting and tedious and I try to avoid them, unless ofc. I have a personal Vendetta against a player who betrayed me in a hotseat. then I try to get the best result possible.
If you now think I did it blatantly to have a few more men ready to fight, I understand that and if the admin decides I should get kicked out of this because of it. Thats fine too, would be sad but I would totally understand that.
