Nah you deserved it, plus the majority dont have to be blamed because of these "stupid comments"
We all appreciate your work, from the campaign to the battles.

And PLEASE for others who will read these words. For PIKES, stay on the topic created for that. It's not because you write "Fix for pikes please" or "BUFF pikes" that the team will change something, bring suggestions instead of demands. Respect the work they are doing for free. Don't give up Dresden, I personally appreciate your work and you and the team got my full respect

I've been around since 06. I was there for RTR 6 and 7. SS, Third Age, Lusted's mods, Broken Crescent, even tried to help out on a few. I have never seen the amount of professionalism, patience and willingness to implement fan demands as i have with the DEI team. If you read the Steam page, Dresden is always replying with patience and sincerity to the most inane questions, questions that have been answered hundreds of times before (asked by people like me as well). A guy breaks his reforms script by using another script mod (which is clearly stated several times), yet the DEI team come up with a custom script to fix his game. A mac user needs help, the DEI team give him an early release to test it and provide feedback so other mac users will benefit. A user suggests a new naval build order, a day later it is implemented and released by the DEI team. The DEI team always want save games from users with problems so they can have a look (do you know how much time that takes? all those savegames they have to poke around in?). The amount of work and patience is astonishing.

They have made a bit of a donkey of a game into a pleasure to play. Its up to us as users to pull our weight. Take the pressure off these guys. It gives them more time to give us more - for free as well. Remember that, this is all free. The only reward they get is an occasional thank you. Let us show the DEI team we have gratitude - and a bit of class too. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the DEI team, i am familiar with Dresden the most since i have been stalking him since his Diplomacy mod. Even if you never update this new release, you have made by £35 outlay on Rome 2 worthwhile. Love you guys. Dont let the bastards get you down.

@Dresden and the hole DeI team: I think that I speak for the majority of your community and therefore say thank you very much for all that constant awesome work you guys are putting into this! It is true that your changes alone on 1.1 vs 1.05x would be around 20 $ or so if it has been done by CA itself! Just because people are more willing to demand stuff, that does not mean that most are actually thinking that you are some awesome guys who are putting a lot of their freetime to make a game playable! For us I can say that you made the rome 2 prepay worthwhile... With this post I want to say that you should not get angry because of some people who are not polite and do obviously not think before they post stuff. It is similar to the refugee crisis in europe: Just because a few (considering the total amount of refugees) are causing problems, people are more likely to put everyone into one bucket. But this is not true. Therfore also the DeI community is ashamed of our few black sheeps who are posting stuff like you decribed in your posts here. So please guys take our thank you aswell as our apology and be proud of yourself

Without the DeI teams wonderful work most of us would have uninstalled this game back in 2014! Their hard work has brought me hundreds of hours of enjoyable gameplay, all eloge goes to them!

(On another note: Making an irrelevant & unpleasent analogy comparing DeI feedback to the refugee crisis in Europe & labelling people who critisize some stuff in the mod for "black sheep" is going a bit overboard, don't you think? But I'm sure you meant well aside for the poor choice of words but in the future please leave politics out. There's a separate section on twcenter that handles this kind of discussions called "Political Mudpit".)

I did uninstall the vanilla release after about a month of disgust.

Since seeing DeI and picking RTW2 back up on a Steam Sale ( sure, I wasn't going to pay full whack for it ), I have been amazed - Rome2 is now absorbing and fun.

So many thanks again Team DeI, you have, in fact, polished the proverbial
( seeing the many things that DeI has gotten to work and/or added, makes me wonder all over again - what were the devs thinking ? )

With 1.0, I had very long loading times and occasional CTDs... 1.1 was a huge improvement and now 1.1b has been problem free. The supply system is well thought through and adds a great flavour. But what I'm really enjoying is the updated battle mechanics: it finds the perfect balance requiring tactics and making you think, but making sure the battles don't drag on too long. As usual, the DEI team has done an amazing job in all this.

@Ygraine: I am sorry if a analogy to real world problems is considered as wrong and I am sorry for that. I just wanted to emphasize that if some people here on the forums are allways crying for some minor stuff that the team should not be angry about the community. Because I guess that the most of us are appreciating the mod as it is and develops even if we are not always posting about our appreciation. And it was to give the team courage to move on with the mod.
Again I am sorry if my well meant words are too harsh in this place!

That's because it's not a zip. It's just a pack file. Just need to drop it in your data folder and enable it when you launch the game.

For my own sins, I still don't had the time to try the new fixs, but started a campaign in the 1.1 version with Taksashila and they didn't have the supply unit for recruitment, probably this is already corrected... just in case.

It should be recruitable from the storage lines buildable in capitals.

Mediafire is being a jerk, so the download isn't updated yet. Should be good now.
