    Notice that the animation tables have been changed, so that the unit holds its weapon as a spear when idle, but fights with it like with a 2h axe as well as 2h spear, to make the unit more versatile.

    Horned helmets normally were not worn by the knights of the order, themselves. There was a specific hierarchy in that , as well as in the shield design. The horned helmets were actually not even really worn in battle, as they would have been rather impractical and cumbersome. They were mainly ceremonial items, but oh well, at least the officers can wear them in game to make them look apart
    With regards to dismounted Ritterbrüder, I am not really in favor of having mounted and dismounted versions of the same unit, as we players can dismount them ( and it would be great if the AI could do that as well)
