Default How exactly does civil war work for Two party factions?

I'm just seeing that there is conflicting information on when civil war happens?

I've read some posts that say the lower it is the higher the chance of civil war but on the other hand the official guide tells me that at 60% influence I should have low chance and that at 80 I get high chance?

Can anyone clarify? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Actually meant single party factions. I am playing as Macedon atm.

The official guide is correct in this case. At one point, it was the other way around - that's why there are some posts that say something else, but it was changed back as it wasn't working properly.

I have never had a single civil war yet lol. I do not understand how you guys even let it get to that point?

If you let your influence get too high in the early game, it's hard to bring it back down in the late game. Since Emperor Edition, your politics in the early game are more important and easier to change.
