Option 2 show movies/videos again?

sorry if this is a no brainer..

just doing my first campaign and i clicked on the "do not show this type of movie again" for the spying movie. Now, it seems I dont get any movies except for the event ones and marriage ones (the ones *without* the option to not show them again).

does that option disable most of the in-game movies? i thought it was specific to that particular one that you already saw. Anyway if thats so.. is there an way to show the movies again? thanks!

I'm not sure if this is the answer as I haven't disabled them myself.

But in the preferences.cfg file in your Medieval 2 Total War folders there is the following line.

event_movies = 1

I assume that after disabling the movies it looks like

event_movies = 0

Try that and see if it works, otherwise you may have to go into the save game file.

If you successfully complete an assassin mission you are able to uncheck the box to not show movies. I think its the same for spies.
