A question about minor settlements...

If I build a "Farming Settlement" in one of my regions does the bonus to wealth from agriculture only come from agriculture in that region or does in include agriculture from the whole province?

Whole province, according to the Encyclopaedia.

Yeah, all those building bonuses apply to the entire province

Believe it may be faction-wide now. Changed recently during one of the updates. Changed at the same time as the faction-wide unit upgrades.

I believe the faction wide bonus are for some unique resources. The plain farming settlement is for the province.

Like the +research ones, or other things as well? (that are factionwide)

When they are factionwide, it says they are factionwide. Anything else is just for the province. Seasons are also a big modifier to your agriculture wealth.

Also, the encyclopedia is not updated. It's still on patch 16 info, not 17.

From the Encyclopaedia (I don't think patch 17 changed this mechanic):

"Many buildings and technologies give bonuses to wealth. High-level buildings and late-game technologies give particularly significant boosts to a province’s wealth. Characters may also give wealth bonuses to any province they are in via their skills, traits, and ancillaries. Wealth bonuses provided by buildings increase the wealth production of all settlements within a province. Technology bonuses generally apply to all provinces within your empire. Wealth bonuses may apply either to wealth as a whole or be more specific and target only a single wealth type. These bonuses always apply to the whole province."

What you are mentioning is just general mechanics, what originally asked was particular building, which is not a good answer.

And patch 17 definitely changed the building bonus. Just that the encyclopaedia is not updated to patch 17, the building description and faction information sections, the ones i can remember that were changed between 16 and 17. As in that the encyclopaedia still have 3 factional traits per faction when there are only 2 now.

General mechanics apply to particular buildings.

Patch 17 changed resource building bonuses, not minor settlement main building bonuses. The changes mentioned in the resource buildings will explicitly state which bonus is factionwide, the rest apply according to the General mechanics.
