Need help editing units

Can any of you guys please help me? I want to change the missile/melee damage for units. I managed to change their melee attack/morale/hit points etc in land_units from db but I can't figure out how to change their missile/melee damage as there isn't any. I think I have to create a weapon(don't know where) and equip my units with it in main_units. But I am not sure, can anyone please tell me how to do it step by step? Thank you! As you may have figured, I use PFM.

If you want to modify missile weapon damage. You have to edit project_table.
Or create a new missile weapon, you have to do with:

missile_weapon
missile_weapon_to projectiles
projectiles
