Could anyone help?

I've recently started playing total war again, after a years gap. I never uninstalled any of it because I've always intended on playing again. But I've started playing Kingdoms again, the Teutonic campaign, and I've noticed that none of my units have banners on the battlefield. Now I know that Third age seems to delete banners when it installed, and it never bothered me in the past, but how do I get them back?

I've tried editing the preference.cg file or whatver its called in the Med 2 folder, and added the 'show banners' line under video (it was missing), but that hasnt seemed to work. Is there something I'm supposed to change in one of the third age folders too? (Baring in mind I would like the banners to appear in third age if possible as I plan start playing again soon).

In your Third_Age_3-folder (teutonic-folder in your case I guess then), open the file TATW.cfg with Notepad
Change show_banners from 0 to 1 and save.
