My game crashes whenever an axeman tries to throw his axe.

Here is a file which is missing, extract it with WinRar or WinZip, and , copy paste it into your .../Medieval II Total War/data/ models_missile folder. Overwrite files/folders when/if asked.

Thanks, ElvenKind, but it's still crashing from the axe throwers.

It happens right as they are about to throw. They take the stance and everything and then poof, CTD.

Do you have a francisca_high.CAS file ( the one which is in that link) in your .../Medieval II Total War/data/ models_missile folder?

If you do, then, delete map.rwm file in your M2TW/mods/ Third_Age_3/ data/ world/ maps/ base folder, and try the battle again.

Ah, I just tried that and the same thing happened :/

Is your TATW installed in a folder named Third_Age_3, or, you had renamed it? If you had renamed it, then change this red line with the name of your folder in your Third_Age_3( folder where TATW is installed)/ data/ descr_projectile.txt file :

model mods/Third_Age_3/data/models_missile/francisca_high.cas, 40

Save and exit.

If that does not work, make a New Folder on your desktop, and install only TATW 3.2 Patch into this New Folder.

After installing it, open this New Folder, and, inside there should be two folders: data and mods folder.

Select both of these folders, right mouse click on them and press Copy, and then, right mouse click on your main Medieval II Total War folder ( the one in Sega folder ) and press Paste.

Merge Folders when asked, Copy and Replace files when asked. Try the battle again.

I changed the file name to "americas" because the loader wouldn't start.

Are there other areas that use the Third_Age path?
