Stuck at splash screen when loading part 1

hello everyone, when i load part 1 of DEI and run rome 2 it gets stuck on the starting screen, i don't know what to does it have to do with the version of my rome 2? i dont want to update because of my save game please someone respond

You need both parts 1 and 2 (or all 6 parts on Steam) activated to run DeI.

You also need latest version of Rome 2.

This is the current version. But you still need all parts of DeI to run it. On steam it is 6 parts, if you download standalone packs from here then 2 parts.

none of them worked

my screen only get stuck when i have dei part 1 and part 2 enabled i really want to play this mod please help

Crash at loading is either a bad install (reverify your game cache) or a mod conflict. Check your data folder for old mods, even if not activated in Mod Manager they can still load.

No it dosent crash it just freeze

Its kindda the same thing. At least for me. I rarely have a CTD when I have mod conflicts. It just freezes but it is caused by the same thing.
It would be easier if you wrote a list of what you have tried. As Dresden noted you should try to:
-Veriy your game files in steam
-Check your data folder for other mods than DeI. Even though you dont tick them in the mod manager they might still screw up your game
-Be sure to have all parts of the mod (2 parts if using the TW version, 6 parts if using the steam version)

This should usually do the trick.

From what I know from your PM you use patch 16 so there is no way this mod gonna work for you unless you update your game. And no, you won't lose your vanilla saves as they are compatible.

Also sorry for my mistake above, but your build is indeed patch 16, my mistake was from first numbers of it 2.2.0 but the rest of the numbers is different in current build.

Like I wrote, ONLY running game update will fix your problem.

ok i will have to update i was afraid my save wont work when i run it after updating oh well time to make a new save with DEI thanks

Updating to patch 17 shouldnt do anything to your save, quite the opposite I believe.
Besides version 1.1 will hopefully be released quite soon so starting a totally new save with version 1.05 would be useless when you already have a current save. Play out the one you have and then start a new one when 1.1 is released.
