    Default missing sounds?

    Hey with RTW and MTW2 if you extract the files (mtw2 demo files aren’t packed) and listen to the sounds there allot of sounds that don’t do anything when played they just are silence. Such as allot of the reloading and other noise for guns and some of the death yells and melee noises. Why are these sounds disabled? What’s the point of recording a sound and then not having it work? Are these bugs or what because if so some were in Rome too. Also in Rome there a crap load of audio the advisor never says like some terrain things and a few funny lines where he tells you you have no chance and to run! I wish these soudns woudl be enabled its a real shame not to have all the sounds wokring.






    Why would you want to overclock a celeron? It woudl only make it suck faster...

    One has a call in the program to loop a sound. If the sound is not there, one uses place holder sound. This is simpler than changing your code to not call sounds that are not ready.

    what so it loops silence till its time for another sound?

    Well alot of them have names liek musket_ammo and things liekthat that seem ike thye shoudl have a sound...
