Default List of Factions / Slots - Saxons included?

I've seen some posts regarding the factions in the game, there being 31 slots, with 1 slave faction ladida..

I believe most note 21 factions?

Anyway have these lists included the Saxons which feature in the Historical Battle of Hastings?

CA have said that there are 31(including rebels) faction slots in the game, 22(including rebels) of which are used in the main campaign. Most likely the Saxons and Normans also take up 2 faction slots as well.

I was just bringing this to the table as it was an oversight of all posts listing factions + spares that I saw.

Yes, I think you may need to re-read the original post.

I was pointing out that all list of factions and "spare slots" for factions have ignored the Saxons and Normans in these lists. Whether they count as "Factions" in terms of campaign ability - I'm not sure.

It's not important, I'm just point it out so that mods planning to change and use the spare slots know that they're going to probably end up rendering the Historical Battle of Hastings broken.
