how do u increase the piety level of priests? so far when i've played my priests get random characteristics but i was wondering if there is a way to improve it like with spies, assassins, etc

Yes, kill heretics, witches, and send them to Muslim lands and nations to increase the amount of Catholicism in that area.

To the east of Europe are also many pagan regions to send them. Alot of slavs still hailing Svarog, Svantovit and Dazhbog there...
