    Default Newbie Formation Question

    All,

I have noticed sometimes that when I select a couple of units and hold the right mouse button down it super-imposes where they will end and sometimes it doesn't. Can someone explain to me when this happens and when this doesn't happen?

    Thx

Do you mean it shows were unit desination are? if so hold shift to see them marked wth banners. if you mean dragging out formations on very hilly ground sometimes this cant be done.

Why would you want to overclock a celeron? It woudl only make it suck faster...

Oh, I know what you mean, when the yellow circles show up right??? IF that's what you're talking about, all you have to do is hold down the right button, even if you have a lot of troops, and you can decide their formation and depth, and width.

its best to select the units and use group formations tho to get your genral formation down before making minor rank ajustments.

What I mean is that sometimes I can hold right-click and drag to select a position and depth of my units (superimposed on the battlefield) and it doesnt seem to work all the time.

What is the criteria for getting it to work?

    Thx

Like I said, hold down the right click and then just drag out the units.

hes not asking HOW to do it, hes asking why sometimes it doesnt work!

in certain areas where there isnt room, or its too hilly you cant do it, thats pretty much the sole reason is because the terrain is limiting you
