I'm afraid it's not that simple. A lot of people don't like the game in it's current form, but think it has a lot of potential - hence the moaning.
Also, I think a lot of people really want to like it, but just can't.

People are allowed to 'moan' so long as they are only CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITICISING the game. It's a vital part of the gaming world, as it is the fiction (and non-fiction) writing world. But I would agree that at times, people just bash CA, which is not on. I'm writing a novel, and if someone totally bashed me, calling it crap and to go and do something else, I'd smile at them, nod, and ignore their critique. I'd never go back to them either.
CA expect all of us to critique their games in a respectable, constructive fashion - if something is right, then we can say so, praising them - and if something is wrong in our opinion, we can tell them what we think, the solution they may be able to implement, etc. If someone says their game is total crap...that isn't helping. That is insulting them. They need proper, useful input that can help improve their games. Not immature, disrespectful input that makes them feel like failures.
The people who succeed are those who try it just one more time...

I'm waiting for the patch to come out before I buy. I remember Rome's prepatch problems and don't want to go through the same frustration. I originally thought I would've got the game by now but I'm playing other things to keep occupied until the game is patched.

The fact is this game is buggy, if we don't complain to ca, they won't fix it. simple as that. i am waiting for new patch to come then i will play.
