Default Camp of Mathilde de Bčthune

On the far western side of the Frankish encampment, stood the command tent of Mathilde de Bčthune, her camp was adjoining those of Lord Julien de Baalun. She hosted a Flemish host of men, hailing from the regions the lady controlled. It was part of her inheritance.
The command tent was surrounded by colourfull tents of her knights who displayed their own heraldry, but those of Mathilde was striped blue and gold; as was her family's symbol.
Next to her knights, Lady Mathilde de Bčthune is accompanied by three noble ladies of low standing as her companions and personal servants.

    2750 men
    550 Footmen,
    550 Spearmen,
    412 Bowmen,
    550 Men-at-Arms,
    688 Knights.

The night was cold and unforgiving to Stephen. After getting inebriated from the extensive amounts of whiskey he had consumed, thanks to Sir Scott, he leaves to urinate, and, horribly lost in the process eventually arrives outside of Mathilde's tent. He promptly vomits, and collapses outside.

When setting out to the Holy Land, Mathilde had not really had given a thought about being surrounded by many thousands of men. But now, she had to confess, she felt not always at ease by it. And now, hearing some strange sounds she decided to face the threats herself, coming out of her tent, with in her hand a a long sword in her hand. As if she would cut down the Saracens herself. She held it in the air and looked at the tresspasser. "Who are you and what are you doing by my tent? I demand you'll explain yourself."

My Lady I'm Lord Richard Neville Earl of York, I've come to meet your acquaintance and perhaps in time we can be friends?

The man, or should she say, pig, still laid on the ground. He was far beyond this world, that was plain to see. She had seen enough feats at court to know who a drunk looked like. The vomit next to him did him little good. She pitied him, strangely enough and put away her sword. Instead she picked up a bucked with water and trashed it over the noble. "Stand up, you are a disgrace to yourself." she commanded him.

"Welcome, Richard Neville, Earl of York. But.. of course. It seems but natural. We are all friends here. We are friends in the light of Christ, are we not? Is there anything in particular I can help you with.." She asked kindly.

Aye, we are all here to fight in the name of God and the liberation of his holy places.
    Richard smiled friendly
i am looking for companions to ride with me on this crusade, I am unhappy with the leadership of this crusade and although I don't want to leave, I do want to lead my own contingent separate from our Christian brothers. It is quite clear we do not see eye to eye despite having the same goals in mind.

"Unhappy?" she questioned him. "You mean, lord de Baalun? He seemd to me to be capable and courteous. A real knight, altough, still a bastard. In what do you differ in goals? Don't we all want to liberate the holy land"

Stephen howled like a wounded hound, taking short, exasperated breaths in between. He sat upright, looking around him to see where the voice had come from.

"Damm that Scot and his whiskey." Aumale muttered, in French, before gaping at Methilde. Scarlet rushed to his cheeks; there he sat, in the dirt and amongst his own vomit, in front of a high born lady.

    "My lady..."

A broken animal sounded more delicate then this howling man before her. She did not quite catch what in the name of Joseph this man was saying, but she did not really care either. "Come in, you fool. Before somebody can see you in this state."

Rising from the ground, he clutched his head in pain, before clumsily stumbling inside the tent.

"My lady..." He repeated foolishly, not quite sure of where he was, or what to say.
