Default Use prologue map for new campaign scenario?

    Hi!
For quite some time I´ve been quite interested in the subjugation of the Italian peninsula by the Romans.
And since I read a lot about this recently, I wondered if it were possible to use the prologue in a similar way to the WoS Campaign map.
So whilst WoS will become the Macedonian wars in 1.1, why not make something like the Samnite wars or the Pyrrhic war in 1.2 or even 1.15?

    Best regards

There has been some discussion about this actually... but it's in the far future. Maybe 1.2.

There has been an idea about using prologue campaign possibly for Spartacus or some such, even though it has a very limited amount of important cities. This has just been a random idea by some testers though, nothing that has been planned or confirmed by the rest of the DeI-team.
I don't even know how moddable prologue is, considering all the scripts baked into it! I'm sure Dresden can answer.

Actually it was brought up to potentially use the prologue as a DeI tutorial. While heavily scripted, I think it is moddable enough.

Dresden was messing around with it, but I don't know what all he did. And it was definitely a idea that wouldn't be implemented until the future at any rate.

The key ideas were to use a tutorial to explain the new added features in the campaign such as supply and the region effects, as well as the changes to battle with the fatigue and stamina system.

I am still at work on it, its just very slow and I haven't had as much time lately. Maybe for 1.2, but yes it will be a tutorial campaign set during the war with Pyrrhus. The basic idea will be to introduce new players to DeI's custom systems.

Please allow us to play as Pyrrhus, the Romans...

Oh, no, see I'm perfectly fine with people playing Pyrrhus in a tutorial. After all, if you want to play as a loser who lost against the might of Rome, that's your pejorative.
