Icon5 Advice on Mod capatability and use

What changes can you make with the EditSF mod? Can you increase the number of units in an army? If yes, how much? I read somewhere that a guy increased his army unit capacity to 100????

Is EditSF compatible with DEI? I like the DEI mod it suits my play-style. Could I use DEI with a few changes from the EditSF mod?

I'm also downloading this mod manager:

Should all these programs work together and is there is there an order I should install them?

Note: If anyone could direct me to decent sources about the technical side of using and installing mods that would be great. I've used a few over the years but lack the technical knowledge of the 'back-end' system files and how they all work together. I often mess it up and end up having to uninstall and reinstall the whole program along with the mods, I want to actually learn how to use them properly.

EditSF isn't a mod, but a tool to edit save files. Yes, it should be possible to increase the number of units per army using it, but I think 40 is the maximum. I don't think 100 is possible. I haven't actually tried myself though.

Also Mitch's mod manager doesn't work as well as it used to before the last patch, so you might want to stick with the normal launcher.

As far as installing mods, it's very simple in Rome 2. Just put the mod packs in your data folder and make sure they're checked in the launcher's mod manager when you start the game.

I've downloaded EditSF but I'm not really sure how to use it. I've unpacked it into my data folder and I can open it, but I'm not sure how to edit the number of units you can have in an army.

I'm also having the issue where the camera buttons (WASD) don't work in my campaign. I've been told that Edit SF can solve this bug but I can't find my DEI campaign save game in EditSF?

    Thanks for the advice dude!

Here's a good tutorial for doing the units per army thing. I don't know about the camera bug.
