    Default questions on sauromatae

    Hi all,
I'm a very satisfied player of many total war games (mostly rome and medieval II) and theirs submods (mostly TATW). Recently I give a try to Europa Barbaborum and I was not disappointed! This mod si fantastic, for me it feels right respects battles: not and endless steam of units from the enemy, but few big battles against the enemy.

However, the culture system is a bit difficult to understand (al least for me) because it is very different from the other total war games and in particular I cannot understand why I can't build royal lands on Chersoneso and Pantikapaion with sauromatae, even if the right culture (steppe nomadism). And what is the requisite "xatagani card" for the allied tribal lands? Someone could explain me?

    This is a useful resource:

Though the Sauromatae portion of it seems a little thin... it may not answer your question. Any thoughts from the devs?

You can't build the sauro_acl or sauro_rcl governments in cities, only in camps. Your only option in a town/city is the Admin government, and that requires you to have completed their reforms.

Ok, this answer my question but open for another: in the two city I mentioned (Chersoneso and Pantikapaion) I have about 40-50% of both unrest and civil unrest; civil unrest is slowly decreasing, thanks to incresing of Steppe nomadism (or, at least, is what I think), but what's about unrest? I conquered those cities about 40 turns ago, but unrest is still the same. It is very difficult to keep this cities: I nees full garrison, capitol very close and a good governar only to have blue face! Any suggestions?

Civil unrest is cultural mismatch - ie the difference between yours and that of the settlement and it's surrounding area. Unrest is turmoil which comes from the disruption of the settlement being taken and other sources of unrest around the place like spies and such, I believe.

If there aren't spies, unrest will slowly decrease?

I think neighbouring regions with a different culture (especially if Rebel) have an impact too.
