    Romans did it better!

The Romans in fact were able to kill other Romans, using better weapons, better armors, better dresses, better helmets, better insignia and using more cruelty, hate, and ferocity than any German copycat. To kill themselves the Romans also used better and more interesting military tactics and strategies, producing funnier and bloodier battles, in the meantime, they even found the time for washing themselves in the thermæ at any legionary base, from Colonia to Mogontiacum, and from Carnuntum to Alexandria.

    There's no match!

My *beloved* barbarians were slow and thoroughgoing. They like to play with the Romans, ever letting a little hope shine before dimming the light a little more.
Till the utter darkness of Rome.

And then much later, to ignite a new light, never to erased again ...

Now, OK guys, consider that I'm pretty old, I need to buy new glasses, my brain cells are not the legions they were few decades ago, it's evening and I'm pretty tried, I spent the last three hours on the torture chair of my dentist, so I'm stoned by anesthetics, but, .. please guys, may somebody explain me what is the actual meaning of the previous two posts?

It's almost like Gaiten is subliminally saying "good game, white power."

Of course we also have to remember that the barbarians were getting raped by the Huns until MMFA decided to show up and save their asses.

    [Edit]:
This is a cool image by the way, goes to show you the fusion of Gallic(or shall I say Celtic?)-Germanic-Romano cultures into one during those centuries.

Gaiten and his foul smelling barbarians are blinded by the light as it were. There should be a balance between light and darkness. Hooray for Italo-Romans!!! (Am I running the risk of being banned?)

Kind of reminds me of this image (Bardobeing) and the next (Janus):

It's not your fault FCG, it's this long wait which is driving us crazy! Work on, Team! Finish this masterpiece, give us a new hope, save RTW, let us bath in the time river's waters at the age of Elagabalus (aka Obama), Gallienus, and Probus, make us live just for a moment the age of the Fall, let us dream that there was a way to save the dream itself, give use RO, guys, please!

Choosing between light and darkness ... this is the basic decision for Zoroastrians

Manichaeism shows up its real face: the secret Persian weapon against Rome! Diocletianus was right (of course).

Thanks, although it's a team effort, and the one who does the real heavy lifting is julianus heraclius.

We were, at one point, discussing adding an African faction, but in the end we opted not to. Even though it would have been a very interesting addition, we felt it would require too much work in terms of creating an entirely new culture, since a faction such as this could not simply be bundled together with the Eastern or Carthaginian ones. If only the engine allowed us to add more cultures...

Thanks for the preview! Great work as always and a faction which has now piqued my interest thanks to the detail and background here. Well done all! Again, I am eagerly awaiting the release of the RO mod!
